Staff was super helpful when I needed to check in early. I love these older motels, and this one has been kept in good shape. Walkable to food and other shopping. Comfortable, clean, convenient, the 3 C"s I look for when traveling.

It was close to where i had to go.
Negatives:
They charged me more for 2 queen beds & for smoking in the room. Which we did not do. I've tried to get in touch with them about it & can never reach a manager. For that reason I will never stay there again.

They are a MOTEL not a Hotel. We were looking for a stop over that was reasonable priced, quiet, clean, and safe. We were not disappointed. MW is an older motel that has been remodeled by someone who knew how and they must have a good maintenance person and house keepers. The front desk staff were both fantastic and seemed to enjoy their job. You will get basic amenities, a great place to stay without breaking your pocket book. We did three loads of laundry and it only cost us $6. We pinned MW and plan on staying there in the future. Nice to find a great Motel still exist.
Negatives:
We stayed in 129 and the outside area next to it had a lot of trash and needs cleaned up. Noticed the wind seemed to blow trash there and it collects.

Five star MOTEL
Positives:
Of the three budget motels we booked for stopovers on our way to Teton and Yellowstone, this was by far the best. Its an older property, but it was clean, quiet, comfortable, and located pretty close to downtown Idaho Falls. The staff was great: helpful and courteous. Excellent launching point for the drive over the mountains into Jackson, Teton, and Yellowstone.
Negatives:
No real complaints from us. If anything, the property exceeded our expectations. If we cared to expend the energy, Im sure we could pick a few nits, but the value proposition was good, so why bother?
