Positives:
We were a little nervous after we read some of the reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised. They up graded us to a room with a balcony. The room was very clean,comfortable king bed and very friendly staff. The breakfast was a little to be desired although they were in the middle of a kitchen remodel and they were also short staffed. I don’t know how you could give them a bad review.
Negatives:
The kitchen was under construction and there was no indication on the hotel or restaurant websites that the restaurant was closed. Showed great pictures of breakfast menu, so very disappointed that wasn’t the case.

Positives:
The River View room we stayed in had a great a view. I liked the proximity to outdoor exits, because it made the stay with my dog easier. I liked that the room had a tiny balcony, although it wasn't large enough to be functional for anything but standing. I also liked the terrain of the hotel property (apple trees, grassy areas, lightly wooded areas, etc.,) it made walking the dog and taking strolls much more enjoyable.
Negatives:
The building is clearly older, and it is fairly noticeable. There were a lot of little things that made the building appear older and slightly run down (bad paint jobs, missing trim, doors not shutting properly, etc.) One of the exterior doors near the A entrance didn't open all of the way, making it much more difficult and annoying to use. The building also smelled old.
