Location and modern style. Prompt attention to maintenance issue.
Negatives:
We were actively unloading our car in the loading zone, and the attendant argued with us while other care were blocking the alley. The room was tiny for the price on a weekday. Needs maintenance attention, as the towel rack and hook were ready to come off the wall.

The hotel is modern and puts a lot of effort in showing to be cool, even if some things don't really make sense. The room was just big enough, with a little table and bench to sit. It has a nice swimming pool on a high floor with a nice view around.
It's at walking distance from the centre, though we sometimes took a bus when we were tired.
Negatives:
I really pity the check in guys because the coolness of the hotel imposes that they have to stand at the front desk with nowhere to sit, so they often lean on the desk to get some rest and that doesn't look good. They were not bad but didn't seem bothered enough to repeat or talk a little louder when we couldn't hear them.
If you want your room done every day you have to specifically ask, otherwise it's every other day. We asked for the everyday housekeeping service but we found the bed undone in the evening, and we were paying A LOT as it was the Lollapalooza week. For that price they really should give free breakfast, drinks and bus tickets!
We had our flight cancelled and had to spend an extra night in Chicago: we asked the lobby guys about the price of an extra night and they told us to look up on Booking (like, what is your job there, then?). We moved to another hotel.

Positives:
The location was excellent.
The shower water pressure and water temperature were good.
Negatives:
The house keeping was poor. Every other day for a towel change and bed make up with no dusting or vacuum cleaning left the room dirty as i stayed there for 8 days. I shouldn't have to ask! This kind of service left the room noticeably dirty.
Dusting and vacuum cleaning are both really basic room cleaning requirements for any
Marriot property. If you are going to do it every other day, at least do it properly. No soap was changed for 8 days. Won't stay here again as it wasn't good value and wasn't cheap either.

Comfortable beds, clean room, spacious bathroom, good amenities, and very good location.
Negatives:
The cleaning of the room during the stay (every other day) forgot the garbage can and did not fix the beds, we could hear sometimes people from other rooms if they were a bit loud, and the pool was relatively small so it was crowded during the day.
