Proximity to Boys Town. Friendly staff and cleaning crew.
Negatives:
Way too expensive for what it is. Small, average room with a small bathroom. Halls feel dark and dirty. Room is clean but feels cheap. Feels more like a Super 8 at higher than Westin or Ritz Carlton prices. It would have been the same price for us to stay here or at the Waldorf Astoria. I think because it is one of the only options in boys town, they can get premier prices. If only it were nicer and worth that price tag!

Too expensive for a mediocre...
Positives:
Room was well appointed, great size, clean and updated. Included breakfast was a nice bonus. Location is great in close walking distance to restaurants and sites (Wrigley Field, etc)
Negatives:
Main floor was under renovation when we were there. I realize this has to be done, but it takes away from the convenience and charm of the hotel. It would be nice for the hotel to offer a "pardon our dust" accommodation for those staying there.

Breakfast ok but not much indoor seating. Ate outside until bee attacked us. Second day power went out and had to buy breakfast elsewhere. Help didn't even Apologize for inconvenience and added expense.

The location of this property cannot be beat. This is my second time staying here, and given its proximity to friends, family and the Broadway corridor, I imagine it will not be my last.
The hotel is perfect for what it is. If you are expecting luxurious, you will be disappointed. This is a clean, convenient, comfortable stay for anyone looking for a hotel in this north side neighborhood.
