this is our third time staying at the hotel, it is always nice to come back the bars, food and heritage design is amazing. The staff were great and the location is excellent.

- we could hear the TV and people talking in the adjacent room all night, I understand its a heritage building but the level of disturbance was high

Bathroom. Wash basin plug didn't work so water quickly drained from the basin which makes shaving difficult. This was largely fixed once I brought it to the attention of management. Shower does not have a low retaining wall on the floor and the shower curtain is 5-6 inches (125-150mm) above the floor level so you get a tidal wave of water across the bathroom floor when you shower and use up most of your daily towel allocation moping the water up. The shower control unit is very ancient - the marked H and C settings were irrelevant - and it took a couple of days to find the right settings.
Dining room is very gloomy and poorly lit for breakfast
