Positives:
Super cute, and a great location. The hotel has a homey feel. There is usually someone sitting in the lobby playing a game and enjoying the fire. The sushi bar was also super fun. The bar tender was amazing! She made our night!
Negatives:
My only complaint is the doors slam in the morning when every person leaves their room. I dont recall this in years past, so maybe it was just that floor. I would still return to this hotel regardless.
Positives:
Nothing
Negatives:
Room was small, I asked for a room with a nice view, all I got was a view of the rooftops local businesses. Paint was chipped in the bathroom and this I'd supposed to be a 4 star hotel.
Positives:
Above expectations
Negatives:
No.
Positives:
Comfortable and convenient. Good atmosphere.
Negatives:
Nowhere to put suitcases ie no racks

Claridge House - a welcoming base from which to enjoy Chicago...
Positives:
The room was comfortable, everything was a bit cramped, but that's to be expected in Chicago.
Negatives:
The hallways leading everywhere were very small and the lobby had a distinct funky smell to it. The parking situation was very poor. Normally something like that is included in the room cost, but it was an additional $60 to park which is ridiculous.
Review
It was expensive, but required for us.
Positives:
The hotel is comfortable and clean, and in a convenient location.
Negatives:
I was too close to the HVAC system in my first room, but the front desk was able to move me to a quieter room.
Review
How convenient clean and comfortable hotel just off of Division Street.
Positives:
really adorable part of Chicago. lobby area and restaurant both seemed nice.
Negatives:
room size was small just bed, small desk and tv.(stayed in reg. king room) but it was clean and well kept.
Review
only stayed one night, but would stay again for the ideal location. in old north loop area, just a 5-10 min drive from d
Positives:
Larger than most double rooms in Chicago. Excellent staff, interior design was excellent.
Negatives:
No.
Positives:
Great location, Historic Charm.
Negatives:
Fit and finish lacked for cost and star rating. Lobby stank like sewage. Switches and outlets were worn. Window shade was damaged. Was told no rooms were ready after check-in time started. Also got hit wit "Resort fee." For what? It's not a resort at all.
Positives:
Size of the room, location, ambiance (old hotel feel with updates and nice decor), ease of going in and out, helpfulness of staff, umbrellas for use, could open our windows in hotel room, view from our room.
Negatives:
Extra "urban fee" when we did not use most of the things the fee was for.
Negatives:
the king size rooms are inside facing directly to the staircase. at lower levels it feels like living in a basement. and the staff wouldn't change the room even though I agreed on a lower category.
