Positives:
The bed was very comfortable and the 2 ladies at the desk were friendly and helpful.
Negatives:
Paid for an upgraded room that provided city views. The window was FILTHY. The room for a size upgrade was small. The bathroom was bad. 4 people and 3 towels. The phone to the concierge didn't work. The other people in my party liked it. I was disappointed. I didn't think the room was worth the price. I understand space is tight in Chicago, but no. Also, the doors slamming closed at 7 a.m. from other guests. was disappointing.

Short but sweet
Positives:
I really liked the location - easy access via public transportation, big grocery store and drug stores nearby as well as restaurants. Very comfortable bathroom.
Negatives:
During the check-in they make sure they have your phone number to be able to contact you to help you out, except when I responded twice with two different minor issues, I got ZERO response (once asking for tea capsules which are supposed to be in the room to begin with). The mug on the table turned out to be leaking from the bottom, which caused the desk to be flooded. I reported it, but nobody came to exchange it or at least remove it before it will happen to the next person. No warning from the front desk that every day there will be noise from early in the morning just next to my window (roof fixing). This is not the quality of service I expect from a four star hotel or from the price I paid to stay there.
