I was disappointed they didn’t have my booking.com reservation on file. That’s concerning to me having used booking.com for years. It just so happened they had rooms available so price matched me for what booking.com had offered me for a room here, but when you’re out of town the last thing you want to hear upon arrival is that the hotel doesn’t know about your reservation.

The location is wonderful. Pretty street close to train and lake. Walk away from great food and fun! Happy hour is such a nice touch!

I asked to have the light changed in our bathroom. Twice. It did not happen and we had to use it with the door OPEN. That ticked me off.

The hotel was quaint and clean. The staff was very friendly and checked on us throughout our stay! Our room was clean, cozy, the slippers and robes were nice. The bedding was nice and our room was quiet and peaceful for being in a big city.
The location was very walkable to the lake, restaurants and little corner stores. I would definitely stay again when in Chicago.
