The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The location was great since we were going to Soldier Field. Staff were good.
Negatives:
I would have given hotel a better score but at end of our stay we ran into some difficulty. First we were not able to get a late check out, we’re told they weren’t giving any. Secondly, the elevators were not working properly. Only one was working. It was very very slow. We decided to walk the fourteen flight of stairs with our bags only to find out when we got to second floor we couldn’t find a way to get out. We met another person who was having the same problem. This person finally found a way out for us. We did call front desk and they were going to send security but hadn’t arrived by time we got out.
My husband and I are 74 years old and this experience was a little freighting. I am also diabetic and hadn’t ate that morning since we missed bkfst.
I reported the incident to the front desk and they were very apologetic and gave us some water.
