Positives:
They accommodated for a room on the top floor for my son's birthday and we're very friendly and helpful during our stay. The location was perfect for our plans to explore the city and enjoy new years eve.
Negatives:
Honestly everything was exactly what we were looking for and we will be coming back in the future

Positives:
Location was great, breakfast was mostly good, room was clean with daily room service
Negatives:
We arrived on the Christmas eve and there was only one person working on the front desk through the Christmas day. On the Christmas day after the room service visit the toilet got clogged. There was no maintenance and the front desk receptionist named Liz was very rude and unprofessional. She brought a nasty plunger (see photos) for us to declog manually, and when I declined to use it and demanded to speak to the manager she stated that she was the “night manager” and gave us an attitude as it was an expectation for the guests to declog the toilets themselves. She also declined to provide us a new room as the hotel was full and there was nothing else she could do. After the initial conversation I tried calling her from the room to which she never responded from 5pm-10pm constantly placing us on hold and prompting me to go downstairs from the 16th floor to lobby to find her playing on her phone while ignoring guest calls. We had to use the lobby restroom on the Christmas day before the following day I spoke to the manager about this and the issue was resolved in a timely manner.

Great location, very poor customer...
Positives:
Within walking distance to the theaters, restaurants and art museum. Great architecture I like the older buildings.

Superb
Positives:
Quiet clean rooms, good location
Negatives:
Front desk and protocols are a mess. Booked three rooms on one card and then when people checked in they had to give credit card for deposit (fine) but also found they were charged for the whole room stay when it was a gift from us. They were told they needed to present a card for room deposit only. Not okay. Then when we told them and tried to transfer the room charges to original card, people got more random charge holds on their cards that didn't make any sense (didn't match deposit amount or anything). Desk people didn't know why this was. Never happened anywhere we have stayed before.
Multiple other communication issues. All with miscommunication and and confusion between front desk and us and front desk and other staff.
Also the elevator situation is the worst of any hotel I have ever stayed in. It was a joke among the guests like we were in this mess together. Three elevators should be more than enough for the amount of rooms in this hotel. But they are the slowest and most inefficient you can imagine. Don't book a taxi until you are out front on the sidewalk. We had to cancel two separate taxis at totally different times of day. On check out we made three runs up four flights of stairs to the lobby to haul our luggage down because the valet was faster pulling two cars from the garage than getting one elevator to bring luggage down.

Breakfast - food on offer so so. Quite processed. I guess in keeping with US style.
Area very small for the number of guests. So eating food off your lap sometimes.
Old building so elevator were hit/miss.
