Positives: Location was pretty good
Negatives: Their valet parking service was terrible. Almost every time there was no body was there and I had to wait about 10 mins to get my car and leave my car. $65/day was way expensive compare to the service level.

Positives: We were attending a play and the theater next door so the location was perfect. Robin, the the desk clerk was AWESOME! Her customer service skills were right on point! She told us about a great location to grab a bite to eat and provided lots of information on places to check out while we were in town.

Positives: Breakfast was good & included some gluten-free items. The room was very nice, bed comfortable. Everything seemed clean. An extra blanket was in closet. Wall-mounted suit/coat valet was nice. TV worked great. I really liked that there was no single use plastic in hotel room.
Negatives: When we entered building on ground level, it was confusing with only elevators & no check-in desk. Elevators were confusing & went up when we wanted to go down. Reception person was difficult to understand - she spoke fast & soft. She said something about an unexpected extra charge (or maybe she said "hold") on my credit card until the room was assessed for damage. I didn't quite understand her message but no extra charge showed up. I dislike the single use plastic utensils & paper plates in the breakfast area.

Positives: The location is excellent, with access in short walking distance to the train, restaurants, shopping and the museum & theater district. Staff was friendly and very attentive.
Negatives: The food at breakfast was basically average. However, the yogurts provided were past their expiration date, the toaster doesn't work correctly, and the space to get food is far too small to handle weekend guests.
We will visit again.

Positives: The building was at a good location and the staff was kind. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was decent.
Negatives: Maybe because the building is old, I could easily hear what people in an adjacent room is talking about. They were pretty noisy and it was hard to fall asleep. But other than that, it was good.

Positives: Loved the location, close to shops, restaurants and auditions at The Palmer House. Good breakfast each day too. Also liked that the housekeeping cart was often in the hall so if a clean towel was needed on a non-housekeeping day, it was right there!
Negatives: No microwave in the room.

Positives: we were here for a college audition event at the Palmer. Hampton was only a block away. location was perfect as it was also close to millennium park, and the riverwalk. Everything we needed was within walking distance. Great breakfast, and very nice rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Negatives: The elevators can be a little slow when the hotel is full, but that can be said about most places.
Great stay at a very...
