We went as a family and really enjoyed the hotel. The service was excellent. From the moment we arrived until we left, the staff were wonderful. I would like to especially thank Michelle, who was very polite, helpful and cheerful, and Zulma, who welcomed us on the first day before our check-in time and was very helpful. She checked us in early so that my children could be accommodated right away. They were wonderful. The breakfast was very good and the staff worked tirelessly to restock everything. The breakfast included hamburgers, eggs, cheese, toast, yogurt, milk, freshly made pancakes, juice, coffee, tea and cake. I thought the breakfast was good. The shuttle service runs every 30 minutes and the drivers are excellent. They dropped us off at the train station every day. The train is 30 minutes from downtown Chicago (Washington Station). The hotel is located on a street with a Marianos supermarket where they have hot food for those who want real food ready, but they also have many varieties of ready meals. On the same street as the hotel there are also 2 pizzerias, 1 Hooters, 1 Dunkin', 1 Seven-Eleven, all within 10 minutes walking distance of the hotel if you don't have a car (which was our case). The pool is heated and clean. The kids loved it. Inside the room everything was clean and there was a mini kitchen without a stove. But there was a minibar, coffee maker, microwave and a sink. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner and body wash of great quality. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in. It was a very good value for money compared to downtown Chicago. I would definitely go back to this hotel again.

The front desk staf was friendly. There's nothing they can do if the coffee is cold, and the wifi won't work, so I commend them for havin to deal with the situation, customer after customer. The hotel shows clear signs of poor management, but front desk is awesome.
Negatives:
The free wifi has security freatures that blocked my Australia phone and laptop. so getting wifi on th elaptop required so long frustrating call with your IT department. They claimed it was an easy fix, but after half an hour I just left to work at the airport. Too frustrating.
