The room was spaceous, clean, and modern. Very technology friendly. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great. The hallways smell great. It's secure and has valet parking.

I lived in the South Loop of Chicago for 15 years, so the Loop and Financial District are home to me. I personally love being removed from Michigan Ave and Streeterville area. It's a 9 min walk from Printers Row for which is much more local and charming. The building is stunning. The rooms are decorated beautifully and are extremely cozy! The bathroom is enormous. And this hotel is pretty quiet! Much nicer than Michigan Ave with the motorcycles at all hours of the night

Staff could use a bit of work considering this is a fairly luxury boutique hotel with high rates.
They did not want to send up water at 6 am when I phoned down which I think is ridiculous

Room decor is nice and we had a view to the Willis Tower from.the window. Spacious bathroom, and we liked the grill restaurant on level 21 so much we ate there a shocking 3 days in a row. I also like a hotel with a sky lobby.
Negatives:
The inner courtyard is a bit drab. I suspect it is jointly owned with other tenants in the building.
