Paid extra for a city view room but got to look at the wall of a taller building next store. Front desk was unresponsive to my question about a better view. Hotel was very nice and very secure.

The location of the hotel was ideal (but a bit overpriced, but that US!). It was clean and nice. The breakfast was included and adequate once we realised how to act (look below). The options were limited but we do not prefer heavy eating in the morning.

We had breakfast included but information about that was not good enough at check-in desk. They just said that tehre will be complimentary coffee/tea, nothing about the other stuff available (croissant, youghurt...) and therefore the morning we went to the restauran and paid unnecessary 100$. There were some flaws in the house keeping. The empty water bottles were replaced on the 4th day! Drinking and wine glasses were not replaced at all, we had to go the restaurant to get clean ones. We agreed on a late checkout and when we came back from the town there was cleaning going on in the room. So lack in information inside the staff, luckily we didi not eventually need to pay anything for the extension (which actually was not in files) after complaints.

The LaSalle was a great boutique hotel in keeping with the kind of hotel we hoping to stay at while visiting chicago. Very high class and chic. Loved the rooms and common areas. would stay agin

our only compainent was that it was located in the heart of the financial district which made getting to various sightseeing spots a bit of a walk, but a minor issue. It was quiet at night.

Stylish and comfortable but also a warm welcome and a hospitable feeling. The room was quiet which was a bonus as not always the case.

Decor! The rooms are beautiful as well as the common areas! The staff was exceptional! When you first arrive... valet was amazing. Front desk staff... I'm so sad I forgot their names, but I spoke with two women and they were beyond accomodating! They made our anniversary a special day! A room upgrade and glasses of prosecco made it even more special... oh let's not forget an unforgettable ride from the chauffeur because we couldn't get an Uber to pick us up (they were filming a movie that evening on the same street so traffic was kind of iffy).
