Positives:
All the staff were wonderful. From checking in, valet, housekeepers ,the express breakfast place inside were all 100/10. Hotel employee who checked us in was especially kind as it was our first time staying here and exceeded our expectations during check in.
Negatives:
Parking isn?t great as there is only 2 options and they were a bit pricey but that might be normal for a downtown hotel. Also wish the room was a bit more updated as there was no fridge in the room.
Positives:
Friendly staff and beautiful building! Great location also
Negatives:
Multiple plug ins did not work in room.
Positives:
The location in the loop area is great, its an old hotel with lots of character.
Negatives:
We booked a double bed and the double they offer is a single, would not fit two people. Had to go and upgrade to a king room for $--a day. Also the hotel changes a $25/day reservation fee. Be very careful what you are booking.
Positives:
Style and character of hotel.
Negatives:
Porters restaurant closed all the time. Limited bar menu. Lockwood restaurant very limited in menu items. Lockwood not always open. Did not get $25 dollars off per day as coupon to bar and restraunts as told by main desk. Room was lacking fridge etc
Positives:
The location was central and I loved the history. We upgraded our room to a MUCH larger room with 2 bathrooms. Well worth the small charge. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced.
Negatives:
The rooms were a bit dated.
Positives:
Its downtown.
Negatives:
It was old didnt smell good, no fridge or microwave the hygiene supply was not enough and I paid an additional 75 dollars I was unaware of so it restricted a couple things planned.
Positives:
The beauty of it and the location.
Negatives:
When checking in we were offered the chance to upgrade our room for a small fee, we opted to take the upgrade. There was no mention of extra charges and taxes being added on to that cost (as I had already paid taxes on my initial purchase)
Positives:
Great location
Negatives:
This hotel desperately needs an upgrade. This old hotel tries to be a classic but needs upgrading bad. Run down bathrooms in the rooms, old appliances, weak water pressure, water doesnt get hot enough. You
Positives:
Architecture, staff and location
Negatives:
No coffee in room; lobby yes, but room, no.
Positives:
This hotel was beautiful. The people working here were so nice. There was a lot of fascinating history to explore and the location was perfect for exploring the city.
Negatives:
The ONLY complaint I have is that our room was very musty or sewer-like smelling. We were upgraded though to the 23rd floor and the hotel is very old, so I can't complain. $10 - $12 a beer and $6 for a mini can of pringles is a bit steep!

Positives:
Awesome location! The lobby was amazing, so beautiful!
Negatives:
The room did not appear to be updated in a long time. The room was small and the furniture was big. Not crazy about the resort fee that was charged on-site. This was explained at booking.

Positives:
This is a a beautiful hotel that surpasses our expectations every time. We have such a wonderful experience at this beautiful hotel that we keep coming back! From the ambience, to the breathtaking lobby, you will have a wonderful experience!
Positives:
Great location, historical
Negatives:
The shampoo, body wash and shower gel in the bathroom was watered down by a lot to almost water. I did not like the extra $29 hotel charge from hotel that is mandatory. We had to get something from food or drinks because we were already charged.
