Booking.com added a high resort fee for a hotel that wasn’t a resort. The hotel said they refunded the fee but I have yet to see it from booking. Also, when booking the website said room with a river view. I got a view of ugly buildings. Plus, the river view shows the giant “Trump Sign” on his building. Terrible, Awful he has desecrated the city and Booking should advise this in their materials. I asked for a low floor, I got 29th. This is a MAJOR problem for someone w/elevator issues. The hotel, obviously, was not full at all - they were still undergoing renovations and my guess is less than half the hotel was available for booking.

Great location, spacious room, friendly staff. My only disappointment is I booked city view room and requested to pay for an upgrade to river view accommodations back in June and got an alley view room. I was told river view rooms were sold out when we checked in. Our friends booked accommodations next door on the day of our arrival and got a river view room. Oh well live and learn.

Staff were very polite. Rooms were clean and spacious with a nice view. Location was amazing, right across the riverwalk and close to everything!
Negatives:
The additional laundry services were very pricy. $5USD per pair of underwear and even more costly per clothing piece. Cheaper to go to a laundromat!
