It was crowded, I tried to change my room from a double to single prior to arriving.....no communication back from the hotel. The room wasn't ready and I kept going back to the desk based on the estimates of when it would be ready and it wasn't. The daily assessed $25 fee was a surprise to me and I would not book with a hotel that does that again. I was there for a conference that was 2 miles away in another hotel because there were so few hotel rooms that weekend.

No bell carts available. We called the front desk the night before we checked out to ask about using a cart for our luggage the next morning. We were told it would be available and to call the next morning. We called and were told the bellman was not there but we could come down and get a cart. We came down to get the cart and were then told none were available - they were locked up - as no bellman was on duty. Frustrating!

It was in downtown close, walking distance to a lot and valet was nice
Negatives:
Once I got there they told me that there was $25 credit for all 3 rooms for food and drinks , I asked if i had to pay extra and she told me no once I checked out another lady told me that there was a mandatory fee of $25 plus tax per room and then she explained what was included after we were leaving and on top of that she did not give me any tickets at arrival or even after explaining and we had to go back and ask for those tickets. In 2/3 rooms we found dirty rags in bathroom and empty water bottles . I just wish they would’ve communicated a bit more at check in that there was a mandatory fee and not surprise us at the end of check out and tell their guest that you get some tickets to some museums with that fee and give those tickets at arrival .

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was excellent! So helpful and kind. Our room was a bit small but over all very nice and clean. The restaurant was very good too. And the location is awesome. Right on Michigan Avenue close to shops and only a couple blocks away from the train. I would definitely stay here again.

Not much honestly. Our room was a bit small and the view was the back of a building but that didn’t really matter.
