The staff was amazing. If it wasn't for the friendliness and helpfulness of the front desk worker, this would have been a lower score review.
Breakfast was actually fairly good.
Negatives:
Three things:
1) the price for the "fees apply" for bringing a pet was $50 for one night.
2) the pool pictured is indoor/outdoor but it was only indoor which made it very crowded. Yes, hidden in the hotel description it says "indoor pool" but the photo is clearly indoor/outdoor.
3) the room was not what was pictured. Instead of a suite with french doors separating the bedroom from the sitting area, we were given a very long room with no table or chairs where we could sit and work on our laptops. The TV was on the far wall, very far from the bed, so it made it difficult to watch. (See our photos and compare them to the ones listed on Booking for the King Suite we booked)
In short, if what was pictured on booking was more accurate, we would have chosen a different hotel.

Our bed was not clean the first evening we checked in. Housekeeping was not there so we had to replace the sheets on our own.
The next day I asked reception to ask housekeeping to remake the bed.
We came back several hours later to a room that no one came into.
No one answering at reception via phone for a very long time.
Only after I met the housekeeping manager she was very nice and made sure someone came in quickly.
Communication via booking.com website/app and the hotel is not good. Hotel asked us to call booking.com and ask them to call the hotel in order to adjust our booking.
