We(Family of 4, 3+1child) knew we would not be able to arrive at the motel within the motel checking hours but way past it because of our flight schedule , so we made a special request during booking to accommodate for that clearly mentioning the exact time we would be arriving,
When we landed at the ORD airport, I received notification that my booking got cancelled,
I called the motel immediately to ask about it and was told that my booking was active and I felt reassured ,
When we arrived at the motel early morning exhausted from the flight trip, the receptionist looked into our booking and immediately said it was cancelled and non refundable, and also that there were no rooms available that are clean,
After a lot of wrangling with her she finally called up her manager and she gave us an immediately available clean room with same type that we had initially booked,
Me and my family are very upset after having to deal with her inconsiderate and unaccommodating behavior despite us doing everything right from our end,

The room was clean and decent. Good price for sure!
Negatives:
When I got there they said they canceled my second night because they were overbooked but I was able to rebook the next night by going to motel 6’s website so I’m really not sure why they canceled on the first place.
