We enjoyed our short time at the Clarion. Staff were friendly and helpful, the facilities appeared clean and well maintained. We did not have the breakfast. The hotel was a little tricky to find.

Our room reeked of cigarette smoke. We were charged an additional, non refundable $50 for our dog which we did not know about ahead of time. Maybe we were put in a gross room because we had a dog. If that’s the case, it doesn’t make sense to charge additional money if the room is disgusting anyway. The carpet was damp and sticky. The pool was cold and cloudy.

The hotel was located in a great area and the restaurant located in the lobby was convenient.
Negatives:
The pool water was freezing and the pool definitely looked like it needed a good cleaning. On our second night staying at the hotel I asked for some more towels and they did not even have enough.
