Positives: A beautifully designed hotel in Evanston near Northwestern’s campus. The rooms were elegant, comfortable and spotless. It was lovely to sit in the rocking chairs on the veranda at different times during the day, and the surrounding neighborhood is also beautiful. It was an added bonus to walk to Lake Michigan (which is approximately three blocks) and Clark Street Beach. There are also many nice places to get coffee/eat close to the Graduate Evanston. And there’s a Wholefoods one block away.
