Positives: The staff was helpful and friendly. Location can’t be beat—five minute walk to the lake one way and downtown Evanston the other way. Room was charming and comfortable. Sitting on the veranda was lovely.

Negatives: During my visit, the hotel was transitioning to Hilton accounting systems. One result was that restaurant and bar expenses could not be charged to the room. Annoying.
