The hotel was older and I don’t believe that it has ever been remodeled. The furniture in the room was disgustingly filthy, there was filth everywhere you looked, holes in the bathroom door, broken glass on the floor in front of the sink, and no microwave. The breakfast was a 5 out of 10 which ended up being the best part of the stay.

Close to all shopping, restaurants, and Six Flags. Great breakfast and helpful staff. Very clean hotel. Updated for sure but can tell the elevators need a little love. Maybe that’s what’s next. There were some points I thought we was going to get stuck. But overall, I will definitely be coming back!

Didn't know I needed to request a refill for coffee for me second day or maid service; pillows were small, electrical outlet in bathroom was 'very lose', the cord for curling iron/hair dryer kept coming lose. Elevator was out of service my second day; I was staying on the 2nd floor and had to haul my suit cases down the stairs.

I am a former Gurnee resident so the location area was very familiar for me.
