Its small as ever. Its only a 3 piece bathroom. Not a family hotel. Make sure to go to the front office to get to the one microwave that is in the office. No refrigerators or microwave in the rooms as advertised. They are pet friendly as advertised

clerk demanded $20.00, cash-only key deposit. room was so bad I slept with my clothes on. there was an altercation between guests in the parking lot 1 ceiling light only light in the room 1 receptacle on the far wall. no table lamps TV was non-func

This property rated # 1 in worst motels weve ever stayed in. The name of the motel was called the Highway Motel and had been for years. Booking. Com called it O Markham Hotel.
Negatives:
Walking in the door, red stains on wall and baseboard and floor looked like a crime scene. Broken toilet seat and missing toilet paper holder missing on wall were replaced after we moved in, by older gentleman who checked us in, after complaint was made. Only one wall outlet, one ceiling light, and very small refrigerator. I replaced the bathroom light bulb one hour later after it burned out, with a light bulb I had in my car. Volume control on tv could not be adjusted on either remote controls, even after I replaced batteries I had in my car. The older gentleman at the desk did not speak English, only saying I fix, I fix after I brought the problems to his attention after he walked over to the room and I pointed out problems with room. Floor was dirty/filthy in the room. Spiders in bathroom cabinet. This place is a Class A dive.

The place couldn't be found anywhere. I even tried to talk to the police down the road but even that place was closed. Every place was boarded up and I didn't get any help. Tried to call the listed phone number and it was to an Alabama number that couldn't tell me anything!

Its a cool place its in a good spot near a place you could go wash your clothes across the street gas station and the highway and quiet location will go back good for the weekend.

i wanted room with a tub but they only gave me shower rooms
