Within driving distance of downtown Chicago and providing free 24-hour transfer service to O'Hare International Airport, this Hillside hotel features an on-site restaurant and lounge and an outdoor pool. Satellite TV is offered in every room at Chicago Hillside Best Western Plus. For added convenience, a microwave and refrigerator are also provided. Charlie's Restaurant is located on site and serves American fare for 24 hours a day. Snacks and cocktails are offered at Charlie's Lounge. Guests can take advantage of 24-hour fitness facilities. Local area attractions such as the Brookfield Zoo can be found only minutes from the Chicago Hillside Best Western Plus. The numerous shops at Oakbrook Mall along with the Loyola Medical Center are also nearby. We no longer have a shuttle. Charlies Restaurant and Charlies Lounge closes at 10:00 pm

Positives:
The location was good because it was near a friend's house so it was easy for us to meet up. Parking was free and had enough parking slots so that's great in Chicago area. Breakfast wasn't free but there was a resto there that served large portions of hearty and warm breakfast. Room was basic but good enough for a short warm 2 night stay.
Negatives:
Elevator was rickety. Reception person wasn't very friendly but we weren't there to make friends with him. Some people going around in their pyjamas/socks. It was a turn off.

The location seemed far away but it's not, right next to a highway. It's away from prying eyes and never did I feel unsafe for my car (just bought a new car). The hotel was cleaned although the hallways were not as clean.
Negatives:
There's only one elevator which makes it difficult to get to your room if it's in the North wing of the hotel. Also very strange thing happened during check-in - the clerk didn't see my booking (which I booked under my Booking.com account), however I recieved confirmation and everything. Perhaps something wrong with Booking.com on their end.
