About This Property

Within driving distance of downtown Chicago and providing free 24-hour transfer service to O'Hare International Airport, this Hillside hotel features an on-site restaurant and lounge and an outdoor pool. Satellite TV is offered in every room at Chicago Hillside Best Western Plus. For added convenience, a microwave and refrigerator are also provided. Charlie's Restaurant is located on site and serves American fare for 24 hours a day. Snacks and cocktails are offered at Charlie's Lounge. Guests can take advantage of 24-hour fitness facilities. Local area attractions such as the Brookfield Zoo can be found only minutes from the Chicago Hillside Best Western Plus. The numerous shops at Oakbrook Mall along with the Loyola Medical Center are also nearby. We no longer have a shuttle. Charlies Restaurant and Charlies Lounge closes at 10:00 pm

Positives: Good location, it has a restaurant concession on-site, Breakfast was great, Restuarant appeared fresh and a served meals at all times of day, plus it had a Bar
Negatives: The room we stayed in need at a wiring work to be done on as a lot of the power sockets appeared loose, also the windows on the room overlook the freeway and it was not double glazed, so we could here the Freeway.

Negatives: One of the elevators did not work when I first got there and then when I went out for dinner and came back, no elevators was working and I am with an oxygen tank and I had to walk up two flights of stairs, which was unacceptable. They did not give me no type of discount no type of courtesy nothing, but the lady that was checking out in front of me they gave her half of her room and I thought that was very unprofessional .

Negatives: The facility is one place that does not offer breakfast. The elevator was deficient. Doors hardly open with the key card. The room I booked online is different from what I saw.

Negatives: I have asthma and emphysema and I have a oxygen tank, I definitely can’t breathe without it, and the elevator was not working and I was on floor 2 the staff nor manager didn’t acknowledge it, and to make it worse check out time the lady that was in front of me. They gave her 50% of her room for the inconvenience. They did not offer me anything. They told me it was a third-party booking. I feel like it didn’t matter. It was the worst experience of my life.
