Breakfast was ok. Could have used an additional fruit option and perhaps biscuits and gravy as a hot dish as not everyone like oatmeal. The room was very clean and comfortable. My son took a turn at the pool and said it was decent. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nice room. Breakfast was decent. Facilities were clean. Location worked for my work purposes. Pool hours from 6am until 10pm allows options to go before and after work.
Negatives:
Initial arrival at room, the facing room had a barking dog. Bathroom door swung inwards and feels cramped, and door moves the shower mat due to the tight spacing.

They ignored my messages: Hi Im staying at hyatt place Chicago/Itasca. Room 216. Last night I didn't sleep because of the elevator next to my room, I hate the room. I want to change it, but the person at the front desk says it is fully booked. I saw people checking out, so why can I not change room with other people. If this is not possible I want my money back, I hate the room. I tried calling you, and I was transferred to the hotel manager, but nobody answered the phone. Also the breakfast was served 15m late while I needed to go out early.
