Very friendly staff, especially Bernice, Jessica & Betty. Location is very clean, housekeeping does a great job, very polite. Kitchen staff are pleasant, the food was consistently wonderful; I specifically love this about Hampton Inns as it saves me time eating at the hotel. The maintenance crew, including Jim, were very friendly and accommodating when little things needed to be addressed & fixed such as a rouge sprinkler lol.
I feel it is important to share honestly of my full experience. I hesitated as this is a great hotel, one bad apple shouldn't ruin the bunch. There is one staff member that is very combative, this is my third time staying at this hotel. I fear this person will destroy the culture for both guests and the employees. They are very rude, unpleasant, rushes people, & very condescending to customers including myself. Unfortunately I quickly observed this is Heather Nelson's demeaner she typically treats guests of the hotel. She loudly boasts she is the assistant manager and seems to completely not hear what guest requests/ needs are; rather assumes what they are & talks over everyone. 3 times I inquired about various accommodations, which were simply questions requesting information I did not have. All 3 times she started rattling off her email address, which is not at all what my inquires were about. It's almost as if she wanted to squabble, it left me feeling awkward and confused, & inevitably I learned to avoid her to have pleasant interactions. When she filled in on a midnight shifts, there was not any attention to maintain the coffee station in the lobby near the front desk. Any coffee is cold or empty, the white counters are filthy, which is such a contrast to how it looks when anyone else is manning this station. She really stumped me on why she is in customer service, it was just such an odd experience with her every time.
