Positives:
we love staying at this hotel! It's not the most luxurious or fanciest, even better than that, it's like being at home. It is so comfortable and has everything you need, lots of space and privacy, it's so quiet, the beds are comfy, room is very clean, the staff is very pleasant and helpful. The gym and pool are also wonderful. Anytime we are staying in the area this is where we will be staying. we have stayed here a few times and it's by far better than any of the other options.

It all starts with how your welcomed. In this case there was no welcome but just an “I need your ID”. This was followed by a statement that due to a wifi upgrade people needed to enter the room. No apologies for possible inconvenience. It was the most inhospitable check in ever. When arriving in the room we noticed the lack of a safe so called if we could be transferred to a room that has one. Answer was that none of the rooms have it. There also was no safe at Reception. When commenting that this was highly unusual and actually quite inconvenient as we now would have to carry laptops, passports and valuables with us. The receptionist, instead of any acknowledgment, stated that no one had ever brought this up before. In talking to other guests, this seemed to be very incorrect and clearly perceived as highly inconvenient as well. Rest of the staff was nice enough but this sour person should not work at reception.
