Positives: The bed was clean and comfortable. Furniture was comfortable. Location to downtown Chicago was convenient. Clean towels. Price was acceptable for a Hyatt.

Negatives: The room had not been cleaned in quite some time. Very dirty. Bath was dangerous. Only one wastebasket which had no plastic liner. No microwave. So surprised by the general lack of cleanliness. We were surprised by our check-in employee. Not welcoming at all. Sullen. Totally displeased by our use of Booking.com. It was questionable that we would be able to even have the rooms we reserved. We were polite, but he treated us like riff-raff.

Positives: I have stayed here many times over the years. It's always a nice place to stay. Pricing on booking.com was pretty unbeatable for the quality of the hotel. This trip we were heading to a show at The Chicago Theater and didn't want to pay downtown Chicago prices. The Hyatt in Lisle was close enough to stay and then travel into the city for the show, and it was cheaper for 2 rooms than 1 room downtown. If we are staying anywhere while visiting Chicago, it's usually here at the Hyatt.

Negatives: We only had 3 issues while staying there this time. Issue 1 was that our shower didn't drain fast enough to take a shower without almost filling the bathtub up completely. Never had that issue before, and I didn't want to take the time to complain. Issue 2 is more of a personal issue, and that was the pillows weren't the most comfortable. Issue 3 was that even numbered rooms were on the side closest to the interstate, and when traffic picked up in the morning, you got to hear plenty of traffic noise. We were on the 14th floor, and the noise got a little bothersome as traffic picked back up in the morning. But it doesn't deter us from staying here again.
