The location was perfect for me, with easy access to the highway, as well as to nearby restaurants. The staff were friendly. Parking was ample.

The room was in a bit of need of maintenance, particularly to the carpet with large tears in it. But it was clean and comfortable and well worth the price paid.

Bathroom was dirty and no toilet paper. NO coffee maker, iron, hair dryer, and only a bar of soap for toiletries. Carpet was dirty and sticky. Sheets were scratchy. No extra blanket or pillow available when we asked. We've stayed at Extrnded Stay locations before, this was nothing like we expected. No utensils, plates, nothing but an empty, dirty room. VERY upset and unhappy.

After driving 900 mi., 11:30pm with confirmed reservations we were told no rooms available and they did NOTHING to assist because we booked thru Booking.com. We called ESA corporate who made new reservations 18mi away; we drove there and were again told no rooms available, again they did nothing to assist. We found accommodations with a competitor. Now I find ESA billed my credit card. At the advice of my attorney I will be filling complaints with the Illinois State Attorney General, the BBB and the Department of Veterans affairs. Absolutely horrible experience will never consider Booking.com or ESA again.

Repeatedly went to front desk due to broker TV remotes. Sink leaked when washing bowl. Couldn't get room phone to work when trying to contact front desk. One time no one was at front desk. Front doors don't auto open which made it hard with luggage.

The Panera right outside the hotel.

It was extremely dirty, place is run down. There were cigarette butts in the hallway outside our room. Carpet in hallway and elevator were probably never vacuumed. There was hair in the sink and floor of the bathroom. Hair in the shower. Food splatter stains outside the fridge. Table was dirty. We cleaned everything down with wipes.

Tried checking into 3 different rooms and finally got one that was available and ready to use with no issues. Range did not work and maintenance almost blew up the hotel to fix it and a good amount of dead roaches fell out in the gas burner and live ones.
