The location was good for Starved Rock.
Negatives:
The bed is smaller than a REAL-SIZED FULL mattress! I know because I own a Sealy Full-Sized Mattress.

As long as it is just a place to sleep, it is good enough.
Positives:
Breakfast was good though there was only bacon at the weekend. The trash in the room was emptied daily . There was clean towels every day. It was great that you can have tea or coffee at anytime.

We enjoyed our stay and the hotel was central to all the tourist attractions.
Positives:
The facility was clean. I was not there long - slept a few hours then had to be on my way - but breakfast was ready (530am) even before they said it would be (6am), which worked great, as I had to leave very early.
Negatives:
A little older feel, but the "oldness" was compensated for by being clean and well kept.

The price was decent and not too far from Starved Rock. Most of the staff was very friendly.

The pillows are smaller, definitely not full size. The bed is firm. We were grateful for breakfast, but dont expect much. There is a pool but its small.

Discovered bed bugs in our bed!! Hotel did not offer a discount or even an apology for the bed bugs. Slept uncomfortably and poorly as a result. Rooms smelled of cigarettes and mildew when it is supposedly non-smoking rooms. Breakfast was minimal. Housekeeping staff seem disgruntled towards guests when greeted or spoken to.
