Motel 6 Rockford Il

Negatives: Check in was horrible, we had to do so using a video kiosk, bad sound quality, extremely difficult to understand the thick foreign accent of the young lady who checked us in. The ice machine and vending machine were both not working. Was supposed to be allowed to have the option of how to pay after arrival, but the card used to make the reservation was charged without approval. Only one of our two door key cards functioned. Motel 6 advertises AARP members can request a late check out time, but this was disallowed for no reason. Would not ever consider returning nor could I ever recommend this location.

Negatives: Nothing.

Negatives: Their after 9pm no visitors policy

Negatives: The front desk was not a person but a kiosk machine. no maid to bring extra items, the elevator was out of service! the walls were paper thin and could hear everything. The hotel says no smoking, but you can smell other guest smoking weed. The lights in the bathroom was not even lights but an LED mirror.

Negatives: Each floor had a horrible smell

Negatives: The staff was always knocking on the door there was a confusion and they told us we had to check out at 11am when we paid for two nights

Negatives: People yelling throughout the hallway all night long causing our dogs to bark constantly. Very, very noisy. Walls are paper thin.

Negatives: There is so much negativity. I really don't have a whole day to type it all. No smoking facility but the whole place reeks like pot. Not clean at all and is infested with cockroaches.

Negatives: Using the kiosk was a sad, inconvenient and dystopian nightmare. I was very uncomfortable with the entire process and made me feel like I was at self checkout for a service that should be friendly and human. That alone will keep me from returning to a Motel 6 ever again. I was struggling to understand the lady on the screen and I had to correct her about my reservation several times. The hall and rooms were in bad disrepair. The noise level was extreme with a great deal of echo coming from the halls and a huge amount of noise coming in from outside and the other floors all night and morning. Motel 6 has always been the budget option but it has only gotten more expensive with much less in return. Although this sadly seems to be the norm nowadays in American life that we all seem to roll over and accept, I will never return to this hotel again and would not recommend this experience to anyone.

Negatives: WiFi and there was stain in the bath towels

Negatives: The walls were so thin you could hear everything and its very sketchy there were people outside yelling at me while i was leaving i wouldnt recommend it if your “white” in the same way you wouldnt go in the ghetto because your a target not neccisarly saying you have to be white but in they way the term white boy is used
