Lots of people (guests) standing around smoking where my kids and I had to walk through to get to our room, buildings seemed slightly in disrepair - rotting wood stairs, wallpaper peeling up at seems, etc. Not what I expected from a Homewood.

Positives:
Very nice suite. Our view was the inside courtyard and swimming pool. It was v. nice. The room was well laid out, felt like an apartment. The buffet was better than expected with eggs, and a side, also muffins, pancakes. Great coffee and also fruits, juices.......the whole thing.
Negatives:
The phone did not work in the room. But everything else was very comfortable. It was surprisingly nicer than expected.

The location was fine and the overall hotel was ok.
Negatives:
I don’t like the fact that they don’t freshen up the rooms. I understand you accept dogs but you shouldn’t find dog toys left in the room and the smell was so overpowering it gave me a headache. I have dogs and love them but I don’t want to smell them and there’s no way to open a window. They could do a better job with cleaning.
