I liked that it was close to our daughters college and the rate for staying there was more reasonable compared to the hotels closer to SIUE. The staff was so friendly and made us feel welcomed. Breakfast was basic. Would recommend getting flavored creamer and healthier bread, other than just white. Also adding fruit to the options.

The Tv is digital, so it was impossible to watch anything since it kept jumping and losing connection.

Positives:
We booked a stay at this hotel primarily due to its convenient location, which did not disappoint. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, it provided a serene escape from the hustle and bustle, which we greatly appreciated.
However, upon settling in, we were faced with several unexpected shortcomings that notably dampened our overall satisfaction.
Negatives:
During our stay at this hotel, we encountered several issues that significantly marred our experience. Firstly, the shower was malfunctioning, providing a mere trickle of water rather than a proper stream, making it a struggle to have a decent wash. Additionally, the iron provided in our room was quite outdated and ended up damaging some of our clothing items, which was frustrating.
Upon entering our room, we were greeted by a trail of ants running along the corners, which was quite off-putting. It's clear that the room hadn't been properly cleaned or maintained. Moreover, the television in the room was very old and did not even support USB connectivity, a feature we've found standard even in the most budget-friendly hotels we've stayed in previously.
Lastly, the breakfast offering was quite scanty, lacking both in variety and quantity. This was not what we were expecting, given the price we paid for our stay.
Overall, we were very disappointed with the quality of facilities and services provided, and sadly, we won't be recommending this hotel to others. Given the high ratings this hotel has, our experience was a surprising letdown.
