Comfortable place to stay
Positives:
Personable staff and smooth check in, comfy and surprisingly quiet despite the airport and game weekend. The breakfast was pretty good. The location was convenient to downtown and Notre Dame.
Negatives:
The toilet was too low. Easy to hurt a back with that like it is. The side of the sheet on one bed was dirty, looked like food stain, but the room was clean. The price for Fri & Sat was too expensive for this place, regardless of it being an ND game weekend!

Apparently unless you request housekeeping the night before they do not make your bed. The room had been freshly painted and there were paint runs on the other walls. Since when do you have to request housekeeping to have your room cleaned by housekeep

Rudest desk check-in clerk we've ever encountered. Room was visibly dirty - nut shells on the floor from previous occupant, dirty washclothes still hanging on shower curtain and coffee spills all over hairdryer, down the wall and door frame. We had to clean the room before we could use it.

Rooms were spacious. Beds comfortable. Distance was 4 miles from ND campus.

Although per Booking, we were to pay at the hotel at the time of check-in, they actually charged my credit card 8 days in ADVANCE of my stay. I am STILL awaiting a refund of $526 now 5 days later. Staff was not helpful in explaining why this happened and have not emailed me the documentation I have asked for. The breakfast was awful. Runny eggs. Slimy hard boiled eggs. Spoiled and hard peanut butter. Our a/c in our room was so loud-it kept waking us up. The tub did not drain properly.

They pool was not open "Down for maintenance" we were told. That was disappointing for the kids. At first we were not but in the room we booked. We booked a room for 5 people, 2 queen bed n a sofa. We were put in a room with 2 full beds, no sofa. I even showed him out email confirmation When we complained the stuff person said it was not their fault but Booking.coms fault. In order to get the room we originally booked we had to pay $29 MORE.
