Hotel is in a great walkable spot for Cedar Falls. Room was quiet and clean with a nice view. Decent breakfast and professional staff.
Negatives:
The worst bath faucet choice Ive ever seen. Combined with very high pressure, the water jets out at an odd low angle, making sink use laughably frustrating.
Overall cost per night was much higher than expected. Lack of competition perhaps.

Convenience of walking thru the little crooked street and all good venues. Hearing the trains go by, neat walking,biking trails from the hotel

The staff was great!!! The breakfast was wonderful. A lot of variety and they kept everything full and hot, or cold if needed. Very clean. Great location too!
Negatives:
Only 2 complaints about the stay. First, our room was not cool at all. We tried to lower the thermostat, but didnt help at all. Went to the desk and they said they would try via some control box. That didnt help either. Went to the desk the following day and they said theyd try to lower the temp on their end. Definitely better, but still not the temperature were used to at home, which is 70 degrees. If it wasnt humid and 90 degrees outside, it probably wouldnt have mattered as much. Second, tried to heat up a piece of leftover pizza and 4 minutes in the microwave and still cold. Other than those 2 things, it was great.
