Staff was amazing and accommodating. The location is kind of crazy and the highway noise is SO LOUD when you're outside, and surprisingly blocked when you're inside. I was amazed and pleasantly surprised. Rooms were recently updated, breakfast was pretty good. I was just driving through, and I would absolutely stay here again.

Location was convenient for just passing through, but I wouldn't want that location if you're sticking around in Des Moines. But very minor if you just need a place to lay your head.

Our room had an odor, turned a/c on-which helped a little, room was across from work-out room which was 2 rooms converted at end of hallway, people using 9-11pm, not good with little kids.

The location was great. We were passing through so being right off of the freeway was convenient. It was close to eating establishments, so it was nice to get there late and have no problem getting something to eat.

Oddly the towels! I meant to ask but forgot to do so - these were either very new or someone works some magic on the laundry. Do tell: what's the secret?!
Negatives:
The breakfast was disappointing. There were many options but the eggs had no flavor. Coffee needs more beans - it was far too thin. I stopped at a coffee shop down the street for coffee & breakfast.
