La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Kansas City Lenexa

Negatives: Well, first, I'm cool will cleaning up after myself but I was cleaning up after my boyfriend who had dropped a can he was really trying not to drop with our stuff, and I told the front desk and the guy's first response was to offer ME the mop! I had to mop the whole area myself! Then I got to our room and found out the one thing I requested, the reason I booked the room I CHOSE ON THE LIST, I didn't get! I wanted the no tub, walk-in shower! That was why I paid MORE for that handicap ACCESSIBLE room! That tub that say at a higher level than the floor itself was NOT handicap accessible! At least not easily for me. Then there was the rude and extremely terrifying wake up siren of the alarm clock going off at SIX O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING! We were able to stop ours, but some employee there did it to multiple clocks because unoccupied rooms were going off and we could hear them nonstop! I requested late checkout, which I swear I was told 2:30-3 would be fine, but we were still woken by the cleaning crew at first 10am (which is an hour BEFORE checkout and still interrupts your our stay), then we got to hear their loud music and banging and voices and then they banged again at 11 even though I'd told them about late checkout. When we were about to leave they kept banging on the door, despite the sounds of us packing and putting our stuff together, and me yelling multiple times we were heading for the door. If there had been more towels IN THE ROOM when we got there, and maybe we had gotten the room we had requested, and not been woken up by the alarm, I would have liked this place.

Negatives: This property felt like a prison turned into a hotel.

Negatives: There were groups of people who liked to hang out in front of the entry ways making it hard to enter in some of the doors. Also there was very limited handicap parking and some were taken by those who weren't handicapped

Negatives: Everything I won’t come back again

Negatives: I have no complaints considering the price, location, comfort and amenities were everything we needed.

Negatives: Checked in only to find that the "County" closed down the pool a couple of days before. One of the reasons I picked the hotel was because it had an outside pool.

Negatives: The floor in the room had not been swept and the outside of the building wasn't clean. The bathroom is really small!

Negatives: I don’t feel like anything needs to be improved. The variety was great. Hot food hot and cold food cold.

Negatives: Staff poor attitudes. Stale smoke smell. Toilet broke 2/3 days there. Only bed in room. No chair/table. Very sub par for “LaQuinta”. Will not book there again.
