Country Inn & Suites by Radisson London KY

Negatives: You need to hire more employees or hire the right employees who have been trained in customer service. More importantly you need to walk into the kitchen area of the dining room and tell me if you would eat anything out of that mess!!!! We spent 40 minutes in your dining room for you “free” breakfast and never once saw an employee. Several people were there waiting for the dining room employee to come and replenish the food well before the closing time and no one came. When we approached the front desk, the person there claimed he should be there but didn’t know where he was and couldn’t help us. When two of us walked into the actual kitchen to see if he was there, we were appalled at what we discovered. The dirtiest most disgusting excuse for a kitchen I have ever seen. Food on floor, dirty cupboards, garbage boxes everywhere…. So disgusting, we left. When I went to front desk and asked for a manager, we were told they weren’t there that day but wasn’t interested in what any of us had to say. We will never stay at a Country Inn again!

Negatives: The fire pit wasn’t working. The night shift young girl didn’t know how to do a wake up call.

Negatives: The hall carpeting was awful! It was badly stained & worn. The tile on our bathroom was loose! Room 202

Negatives: No pet relief area, had to pay extra for our dog. Breakfast was passable.

Negatives: The floor in the room was dirty, it hadn't been swept or mopped. The breakfast they served was ok, but it didn't have as much as I expected from a higher quality hotel.

Negatives: The room smelled. The hallway was dirty.

Negatives: This hotel is the definition of lipstick on a pig. The luggage carts are loud and literally falling apart. For reference, I paid $130 for the “suite.” It was essentially a normal sized room that they crammed everything into…barely. The “living room” side of the room looked like it belonged in a prison. Definitely not a room you would want to spend any amount of time in. The bathroom is so small a bigger person would not be able to navigate it. The bathroom sink was so big there was no counter space. One of the mattresses was bowed down in the middle. There was barely a foot of space between one side of the bed and the window. As it’s an older hotel, there is an extreme lack of outlets in logical locations. The carpet in the hallways had paint splattered all over it. If the very close Starbucks gets a delivery or their garbage picked up (we suspect both happened), you will be up bright and early in the morning as the sound is not muffled in the slightest. If the room cost $65-$75, I wouldn’t expect much. But, $130 is WAY too much for what we got.
