Although our room was big and clean there were three problems that ruined our stay. First the smallest issue: after traveling all day, I went to take a shower. There was no shower gel in the bathroom so I had to call housekeeping. The second issue was that this is the first hotel that I have ever been to where there was no turndown service each day. It appears that there might be a sticker on the mirror in the bathroom which my wife and I did not see that says you have to request this service. When we checked in there was no mention of this. So after a day of being in the sun at the football game and Downs after dark, I had to go to the front desk at like midnight to get fresh towels. The biggest issue with the room, which made it very uncomfortable was the air conditioning did not work to the point where our room was over 76 at one point. After coming back to the room on our first night from being out, I had to go to the front desk, step away from the group of people I was there with, and wait for the maintenance guy to be called. It took probably an hour plus for him to arrive, he went and looked at the unit which was iced over and filthy. He tried cleaning it, but it was terrible. It didnt work and he said it is going to have to be replaced. When he came back I had to help him physically take the air conditioning unit out of the wall and put the new one in. both units had dusk and filth all over it. If it was not for him, we wouldve been able to even sleep in the room. I would expect for $850 for two days to get my room turned down and I have an air conditioning that works and for another staff member to help change it out instead of the guest. Removal of the air conditioning unit was a two person job.

Great basic hotel! There was a parking lot available, but street parking in front of the hotel was also free, really handy! The neighboorhood is great, right at the start of NuLu, loved it!

The lady named Joy was very rude tried to cancel my reservation she did before I even got in room
Had 2 service dogs they tried to charge me for even though I had paperwork n tags n her n Josh I had to prove it to them even though it's against the law to be asking what they do what school etc
I had reserved a 2 double bed room n ended up with 1 bed n a couch
Wanted me to pay 20 a night to park
This joy n Josh are very rude front ppl n they are very disrespectful
