La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham New Orleans Veterans

Negatives: I had an extremely disappointing stay at this hotel. Right from the beginning, the room was in a deplorable state with dirty linens that clearly hadn't been changed. There was a pervasive foul odor that made it unbearable at times. The staff was unhelpful and rude, showing no interest in resolving any issues we raised. Additionally, the noise from the street was incessant, with the sounds of vehicles and trucks throughout the night, severely disrupting our sleep. To make matters worse, when I attempted to cancel my booking due to these unacceptable conditions, I was bluntly denied. This hotel failed on every level of basic hospitality. I strongly advise against staying here.

Negatives: Hotel & room was dirty, broken items, smelly. elevator was broke for months before my stay & during my stay. 73 year old with walker, had to take stairs when we ask for Ada accessible they would not give us a first floor, when many was available. Laquita inn should strip they name off this hotel.

Negatives: Probably the top 3 worst hotel experiences in my 23 years of international travel. The worst being the African American manager. She was bellowing orders at staff in front of us: completely unhelpful when expressed as two female travellers we did not feel safe. Her overall attitude and tone needs a check or she needs to be replaced with one of the younger, more empathetic staff. I had several run-ins with her and it just got worse. We asked for the cancellation fee to be waived so we coupe afford somewhere more to our standard. She said we could leave but no money returned even though it was within her capabilities and goodwill. Felt like the song “hotel California” Rooms were absolutely disgusting- smells, cleanliness of carpets, dripping taps, stained sheets and pillow cases. Pool was closed although that was not made clear when we booked. Temperatures were up around 28 Celsius and we had nowhere to cool off. Even though the pool looked clean and ready to go- gates were locked. I asked for information on local bus routes to airport etc- was told we don’t take buses so we can’t tell you. No effort to help with anything we asked for. Made our trip a total disaster because we did not want to stay and relax in our room at all.

Negatives: There was nothing that we disliked. The only improvement we could recommend is that the handicap parking not be so steep.

Negatives: Management tried to remove me out my room on day one by just coming to my room and telling me it’s time to go…. I booked for 5 days and when I told her that she argued me down. The doors on the hotel are missing screws and don’t close all the way big safety issues. The drunks and the druggies come around the time the sun sets. Did I mention the sheets was dirty stains everywhere and it help to get new sheets. House keeping stole food and items out the room for two days and they only offered a 25$ compensation. Imagine buying food for the week just for someone to take it while you at a work conference hadn’t even opened it. They did not care even changed my key in the middle of the day after ignoring the do not disturb signs and still came in there and threw all my stuff away . The roomed smelled like moldy dog and its everyone most ppl just open the door to let room air out some because the smell so bad . The hotel doesn’t even match the picture they don’t clean up anything. They lucky this app won’t let me upload this video but it’s okay cuz I’m emailing corporate with it

Negatives: I got bite buy spider

Negatives: Nothing the manager and attendant was rude and awful they gave my room away and then blamed me and threatened to call the police

Negatives: Hotel carpet was filthy. Elevators and all ice machines not working. Staff didn't care or say when repairs would be made. I strongly suspect my credit card was hacked because I had to use it here. I will never book again.

Negatives: Very small room and my reservation was given away even though it was paid for months in advance !

Negatives: Had to pay a $50 deposit and have not received it back as of today. Not sure what the deposit was for since my credit card was on file and room was paid for.
