Candlewood Suites is pet friendly! Pets weighing less than 80 pounds are welcome. A non-refundable pet fee will be charged to the guest’s account upon check-in based upon the length of stay -- 6 nights up to $75, 7+ nights up to $150. Proper medical certification specifying that all vaccinations are up to date must be available upon request. Pets may be left unattended in your room. However, if you leave the premises of the hotel with your pet unattended in the room, the pet must be in a crate or pet carrier while you are gone.

Located just off Route 90 and less than 3 miles from downtown New Iberia, this Candlewood Suites features a 24-hour fitness center and an outdoor pavilion. Free Wi-Fi is available. Nothing at all reason I dont stay here is because its always a problem when booking. If I book a double room its a reason and to check in and be told I have to be specific when booking. Well I specifically selected a double room when I booked it and to top it off I was still charged for a double room rate.

Literally never had even warm water. Called each day of my stay and still had no hot water at all. Cold shower every day.

Freezing when we entered the room, but the heater set off the smoke alarm, and the smoke alarm chirped every 10 minutes throughout our stay so we couldnt sleep, and the front desk did not address the issue.
