This Quality Suites is located in New Iberia, minutes away from the Zoo of Acadiana and the Jungle Gardens of Avery Island. Shadows-on-the-Teche, a plantation located on the banks of the Bayou Teche in the heart of Cajun Louisiana, is eight miles from the hotel. McIlhenny Company, famous for its Tabasco pepper sauce, is seven miles away. Conrad Rice Mill, America's oldest working rice mill, is also nearby. Tour shallow water swamps, bayous, sloughs and coves by airboat. Visitors can enjoy spying on alligators, deer, nutria, and other Louisiana wildlife while exploring the gardens of Avery Island and bird city, where over 20,000 egrets and other waterfowl nest. Hotel amenities and features include free local calls, free weekday newspapers, and free coffee. Free breakfast is also provided. There is also an exercise room. There were some issues,like the room we had the bathroom door was broke, the manager gave us another room but when we got to the new room we pulled out the sofa bed and the mattress look like it was in an alley. Once again the manager came through, he found a better bed. They do not have cover for the bed we were giving a curtain. There big water bugs in the rooms and in the hallway. The shower pressure was horrible, I have a better chance of taking a shower outside in the rain. The breakfast yea the orange juice taste like old orange juice that’s been water down there was no apple juice. The ladies at the front desk was helpful but they could have had the breakfast restocked.

As soon as we walked in the room, it had a horrible smell.
The carpet had a big red stain on it. It reeked of marijuana down the hall. Looks like a lot of homeless people hang around there. I requested another room but never got it. Also, no hot water. The only way we were able to get hot water was turned all the faucets on the bathe baseball in the bathroom and the little sink outside the bathroom. The manager came up and said that they have to be turned on at the same time in order for the hot water to travel from one end of the hotel to the other so we were delayed in getting to our event because we did not have hot water. I stayed at your hotel in April and never experienced anything like this. It was very comfortable, clean smelling and we had hot water this time. I was very disappointed and I would not Recommend anyone stay there until these problems are correct. My room number was 228

The bed was comfortable. The staff was all polite. The water in the shower was very hot. Love that.

Rundown and pool was small. The hot tub did not work at all. There were dead roaches in the pool area this morning went to get breakfast at 8:20 and the staff member that was there told me There was no more breakfast and just a big mess because a big group had checked in before us the night before. Breakfast was supposed to be served until 9 o’clock. The pillows on the bed were standard size . We will not be back.

I never stayed there, I only did pay for the night. Still waiting for my refund. Hotel informed us upon arrival that they did not have warm/hot running water and recommended cancellation thru booking.com. Since than, the hotel does not reply to any request concerning the promised refund.
