1. I don’t like the new furnishings in the hotel lobby. It is inconsistent with the magnificent architecture of the building and “cheapens” the look.
2. If you want this to be an upscale experience, the valets need to up their game for guests at hotel entry.

Really lovely old but restored building, nice rooms, great beds. Friendly front desk and door staff. Brand new fitness room with brand new equipment. Great location, easy walk to French Quarter or Riverfront. Really enjoyed our stay.

Our room was not made up after our first night, and we had to request more coffee, creamer, sugar, toilet paper and kleenex. By the time they came we were leaving for the day. Also construction on the room next door at 8am was a little annoying.
