Positives:
Nice stay in lovely hotel with original building’s grandeur with spacious room and bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff; concierge with a lot of useful info! Restaurant and bar on site. Walking distance from French Quarter, decent neighborhood.
Had an issue with cleaning/towels, but this was resolved the same day.
Negatives:
Heavily used mattresses showing a dent in the middle, not extremely comfortable. We had a room next to the elevator: try to avoid this!
Not many sun beds by the pool, and several broken.
The hotel does NOT offer car and/or bike rental. City bike rental is possible down the street.

I love the atmosphere of the facility and the room size. The Hotel was gorgeous. The rooftop was fun.

If I had to choose anything to complain about was the toilet did run for a while every time we flushed. but it didn't bother me too much.

The beds are very comfortable, air con is quiet and the room was clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, it was only a short walk to Bourbon Street. Great selection of good eateries close by. We would recommend this Hotel.

The location was brilliant. The staff were all lovely and helpful.
Negatives:
The rooms were too dark, not enough lighting. There needs to be more fresh air. The constant air conditioning made the room smell and feel damp. The carpet felt damp and there was a smell as soon as you walked in. This wasn’t just our room. Our friend’s room was the same. Towels didn’t dry properly and we had to request new ones.
