Positives:
There was no breakfast or pool, though it was advertised as providing both. There was no lobby or check in desk or even a first floor- you had to walk up to a regular window, under an ez up tent to check in while standing outdoors. You were then directed toward a side door, which was propped open for anyone, guest or not, to enter the hotel. There were no lights in the very dark parking lot, and most of the spaces were taken y construction materials and trailers. The inside of the hotel was absolutely horrific! It was a literal construction zone. See pictures- I can’t describe it except to say that it was completely unacceptable and we should never have been allowed to book this place, and for safety no one should be staying here while the place is u set this level of construction. The inside of the room was done, but the hallways and entrance and parking and lack of any services promised was ridiculous. We specifically booked for a pool and breakfast- we did not expect neither one AND an unsafe and hideous construction site.

See above- unacceptable and we should not have paid for this hotel at all. I would have moved expect that all hotels were booked and we arrived at 845pm after a baseball tournament.

Room was spacious clean and modern. Staff was helpful in providing sheets for pull out bed for my daughter.

Currently, the hotel is a construction zone. Our TV did not work. There was no phone to contact the front desk. While new, our room was not finished. Brown water came out of the bathroom faucet when first turned on. Workers were everywhere inside and outside the property into the evening. There is a rush to complete the property upgrade and rebranding to Marriott. It should not be open for business in its current state. I filed a complaint and have not heard back.

Left after one night. Entire hotel under construction! No place for guests to be spending their hard earned dollars. I will never go back and I will never recommend this dump even if it’s amazing after all the construction. They should have gave us a full refund but they decided 15% off the first night would do because they didn’t charge us for the second night. We arrived too late the first night to go find something else. Our first room wasn’t even finished. after we got there we called and complained and they had to move us again. No one spoke great English at that time so we had to wait to complain until the morning staff arrived

Once we made it through the construction zone, the newly renovated rooms were nice, clean , comfortable and modern.
Negatives:
Upon arrival we realize this hotel was under complete renovation. There was no hotel lobby we were served through a window next to would be entrance. We were then notified that there pool would not be open and that there was no breakfast included. For which I specifically wanted for this stay on our journey with kids. I asked if our stay would be discounted. She said they could waive the cancellation fee if we wanted to stay somewhere else!!? We had with tired children at bedtime so we reluctantly decided to stay.
During the next 2 days, we delay with elevator issues, painter in stairwells, grinders. the only way to enter the hotel was through the side door that all the contractors were using. My daughter near got a face full of sparks one time entering the Hotel. The hotel should not have been open. If they get through this construction without a lawsuit they will be lucky.
I feel that I should have been offered a refund or partial refund for condition of the Hotel, clearly the owners looking to make a few dollars.
