Melissa checked us in and went above and beyond trying to help get me up out of low rental car. She is so pleasant and friendly.,

Our first night we were given the wrong handicapped room. I reserved the king room with the roll in shower but the room was double beds with a bathtub. I'm not able to get in a tub. The room was so, so. They put us in the king room the second night and the room was beautiful because it was newly renovated. My biggest concern is the toilet was too low and difficult to get up and down. The hotel needs to have a taller toilet in handicapped rooms.

However when entering through door #9 the hallway and room was musty and smelled old. Hair on bathroom floor and sink drain was slow. We got there after 12 midnight and was exhausted from a drive from MD. Certainly was not worth the 300.00 we paid and is not a 3 star hotel. So disappointed.

We've stayed at this location twice now on our visits to Rockport. The best part is that we were able to walk from the hotel into the quaint, downtown area by the water. The rooms are good, the lobby is beautiful, and the breakfast is basic continental fare. Nice place, especially for the price, which tends to be less expensive than some surrounding properties.

My room smelled of cigarettes, bed was hard, pools were dirty, and had an argument with a lady because she left her clothes in the only 2 washers for over 20 minutes and I took them out so I could get my wash done.
