Lightning in room was dim, floor in room left feet dirty, iron leaked, baseboard by bathroom rotten and detached, ran out of tissues and TP, and TV reception was terrible.

The bed, breakfast, location, staff, the bathtub and bathroom floor was clean, and the towels were clean, large but thin. The fridge freezer worked vey well and I loved that there was no carpet! The room was clean.
Negatives:
The toilet is too low, like a child's stool, the corner wall in the bathroom had a big water mark, The bathroom door looked like someone kicked it in and the door jam was broken. The TV kept buffering, the room phone didn't work so I couldn't call the front desk for a wakeup call. The bottom of the room door was high up off the floor so light, air and insects could get into the room. My room 212 was on the side of the building where constructions was going on so it was noisy until long after dark, along with the air condition noise.

Positives:
I am the type of person that always cleans my hotel room, no matter what. It didn't take me very long to clean this one because it was pretty clean already which was a nice surprise! I've stayed in hotels that were questionable at best.. The staff was super nice and informative. Although I'm not a huge fan of the outdoor entrance, I wish there were vending machines, and I need to start requesting no joint rooms, I was pleased with my stay. :)

Booked 2 rooms, both were on opposite sides of the building and on the outside. Couldn't get a room that was next to each other. Rm 113 you had to slam the door to ensure it was locked, air conditioner made noises shutting off and on. Room 118 you could hear the people above you walking all night, you could hear conversations inside and outside both rooms, lighting was dim and showers leaked on the floors. Breakfast was mediocre.

Grandson loved the breakfast; the pool was wonderful; the inside was modern and updated. The staff are great.
Negatives:
The outside is very dull looking. The color is horrible and doesn't match the inside upgraded aesthetics. I recommend painting the outside buildings so that it is brighter. It looks like Best Western brought a former motel and upgraded inside rooms but not the outside of the building. It looks old, and dingy although the grounds were very clean.
