Relatively clean rooms; staff was very kind and helpful, as they were able, with somewhat substandard conditions.
Negatives:
#220 shower door wouldn't stay closed, so water ended up pooling on the floor outside the shower.
#222 room door had to be forcefully closed each time in/out.
VERY noisy, with street noise, in both rooms, although we'd requested to have rooms on quiet side of the hotel. Tasteless "hot" (though some undercooked) breakfast items, and very nasty-tasting waffles, with absolutely no available syrup. Several of the guests - one after the other - had to request, at the kitchen door, that the chef, provide each person the requisite cup of waffle batter. It turned out to be very much not worth the effort for the very poor, and tasteless, waffle batter recipe. There was old and relatively cold coffee in the carafes, and warm-to-lukewarm "hot water", for tea, in the carafe. We are sad to say that for the exorbitant price of each room, and the Marriott / Hampton name on the line, we expected much improved conditions. We were quite disappointed.

The room was very clean. The breakfast was tasty and had variety. I also appreciated the entrance doors locking at 11pm. We felt very safe and comfortable overall. Definitely would recommend and/or stay again. Oh! And I was able to check in EARLY at around 12ish.
Negatives:
When I first checked in, I was told I owed the portion I paid via Booking, which I wasn't prepared for. Receptionist told me it was an issue with Booking, not the hotel, but they eventually got it settled.

Really great experience overall!
Positives:
Location was great, right next to parking garage, about three blocks from inner harbor and all the food places etc it offers. Also four blocks from cfg arena where I went.
Negatives:
The room deposite is not talked about at all when I got to the location on top of my 222$ ( i already paid the room off months prior) they want $150 incidentals fee. The staff was nice but had I not worked that day they would have turned me away because no deposite. I was super furious because that was my money to spend during my stay, no one took cash and they took the deposit making me broke, they didn't care.
